Safe Holiday in Austria

Dear guests!

The health of ALL PERSONS has absolute priority in these challenging times. After consulting with the state governors, the all-state COVID crisis coordination (GECKO) and experts, the Austria Federal Government has decided to lift the existing COVID measures in almost all areas as of 5th March 2022.

Since 5th March 2022

  • Removal of all COVID measures, except for highly vulnerable settings (hospitals, ...) and with the exception of the FFP2 mask requirement in public transport and in shops for daily needs (supermarket, post office, bank, pharmacy, and much more).
  • No access regulations
  • Opening of night gastronomy.
  • Wearing an FFP2 mask is generally recommended in indoor rooms.

Entry regulations since 22nd February 2022

Since 22nd February 2022, proof of 3G (vaccinated, recovered or tested) is required for entry into Austria.

  • If you don't have a 3G certificate on entry, you have to register and stay in quarantine for 10 days until you get a negative test result.
  • Children under 12 years of age are exempt from the G proof obligation.
  • Answers to many questions about entering Austria can be found at FAQ: Entry to Austria.

We are looking forward to see you soon in Piesendorf Niedernsill!
