Winter fun

The narrow-gauge railway between Zell am See and Krimml (54 km) takes cross-country skiers and winter hikers to the picturesque villages, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths of the Salzach Valley in comfort at hourly intervals: in one direction you can travel comfortably by train and return sportively on cross-country skis, skates or on foot, or vice versa.

Ski pass = Ticket

With the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn train you can get to the region's top ski resorts without stress and traffic jams - your ski pass is your ticket (only valid for the journey to and from the respective ski resort).

  • Maiskogel & Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun (stop Fürth-Kaprun) valid from Mittersill or Zell am See
  • Schmittenhöhe Zell am See (stop Areitbahn) valid from Uttendorf Stubachtal or Zell am See
  • Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen Hollersbach (stop Hollersbach Panoramabahn) valid from Uttendorf Stubachtal or Sulzbachtäler
