But why does the Kitzbühel | Kirchberg ski area hold such fascination for winter sports? One of the main reasons is most likely the extraordinary beauty of the surroundings. Secondly, they offer 185 kilometres of descends and 41 kilometres of marked ski routes in all degrees of difficulty, as well as action-packed snowboard fun parks, natural toboggan runs and hundreds of kilometres of cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails. The ski area stretches over seven districts and two federal states, an absolute winter sports paradise in the Alps.

The Pass Thurn, Hahnenkamm, Fleckalm, and Kitzbühler Horn all feature perfectly groomed pistes, plenty of variety and, of course, cosy and rustic ski huts where you can stop in for refreshments and relaxation. With a total of 54 state-of-the-art cable cars and lift facilities, Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel is the biggest cable car business in Austria and every day carries lots of happy winter sports fans to the snow-covered pistes.
