14 kilometres in the frenzy of the skids

14 kilometres, 1,300 metres in altitude and 23 bends from the Wildkogel down to Bramberg: the world's longest floodlit toboggan run is a challenge for anyone who wants to set their own personal record - but also for connoisseurs who like to stop for a bite to eat along the way.

Sledge, helmet, skiing googles, gloves, ski trousers, sturdy winter boots, gaiters - and off you go. The world's longest floodlit toboggan run has been awarded a double gold international quality seal. And anyone who plunges into the curves here deserves a gold medal too, because you should allow 30 to 50 minutes for a toboggan run without a break.

There is hardly any other winter sport that is as uncomplicated and fun as tobogganing. The Wildkogel cable cars are open not only during the day but also at night. The lights on the perfectly groomed toboggan run do not go out until 10 pm.

The Smaragdbahn cable car, which operates until 6.30 pm on Fridays, takes toboggan enthusiasts to the start of the 2,100 metre high slope in just a few minutes. Or take the Wildkogel cable car and make a short hike to the start of the toboggan run.
