PLETTSAUKOPF - snowshoe tour
26th December till 20th March 2023

From the cityXpress mountain station, you will hike to Plettsaukopf reservoir. And afterwards, you’ll walk along the shore of the lake and discover the wintry Schmitten. On a clear day, the stunning scenic views of the neighbouring peaks around Lake Zell are bound to take your breath away.

What are you waiting for? Put on your warm winter shoes, pack a warming drink in your rucksack, and off you go! Snowshoes and snow poles can be rented directly on site.

WINTER DREAM TANNWALD
26th December 2022 till 3rd April 2023

Mountain forests provide habitats for wildlife and plants. Furthermore, they are considered recreational areas for people, form an important climatic factor and take on a decisive role in the protection against avalanches or mudflows. Discover the forest habitat with the Natiuonal Park Ranger.

IN THE WINTER REALM OF THE WATERFALLS
26th December 2022 till 3rd April 2023

The Krimml waterfalls are not only an impressive natural spectacle in summer. Due tot the shady location, only a few rays of sunlight reach the waterfalls and thus beautiful ice formations are created at the appropriate temperatures.

WILDLIFE WATCHING AT THE FEEDING IN THE HABACHTAL VALLEY
2nd January till 27th February 2023

In the cold and snowy winter months, red and roe deer don't find enough food. The fact that feeding isn't always the same and that active wildlife management offers many unexpected facets can be discovered during this excursion. It is an exciting experience for the whole family, because you can watch mighty deer and young calves at close range, but still in the wild.

KITZSTEINHORN EXPLORER TOUR

With a National Park Ranger on an exciting journey of discovery through four climate zones: From the valley directly in Kaprun via the 3K K-onnection to TOP OF SALZBURG at over 3,000 m into the world of glaciers. An experience for the whole family with cable car rides, easy hikes and guided tours through the National Park Gallery.

NATIONALPARK GALLERY TOUR

On the guided tour through the National Park Gallery, a 360 m long info tunnel, you will everything about high alpine natural phenomena at first hand. At the end of the tour, when your last unanswered question has been answered, you are guaranteed to enjoy the panoramic view from the National Park Gallery viewing platform with a knowing smile on your face.

WINTER ADVENTURE IN THE HOLLERSBACH VALLEY

In the winter months, the Hollersbach valley is particularly enchanting. Snow-covered alpine meadows and forests blanketed in hoar frost as well as glistening, icy streams make this excursion especially rewarding. Animal tracks tell of the winter life of the local fauna.

SNOWSHOE HIKE WITH SUMMIT YOGA AND 360° PANORAMIC VIEW
28th December till 22nd March 2023

From the valley station of the Schmittenhöhebahn, you will walk up Zell's landmark mountain. Together with your group, you will enjoy a leisurely snowshoe tour. Always right there with you: scenic 360-degree views of the peaks of the surrounding three-thousand-metre mountains.

We recommend sturdy footwear and warm winter clothing for the hike. You can also take a warming drink with you. If you need snowshoes or poles, you can rent them directly on site.

MAGIC WINTER EXPERIENCE IN RAURIS
28th December 2022 till 5th April 2023

The snow-covered landscape in the rear Rauris valley - called Hüttwinkltal - is excellent for hiking on snowshoes. On this moderate tour you can enjoy magnificent views of the Sonnblick and the Ritterkopf. In the snow-covered winter landscape you will discover again and again the most diverse animal tracks, which tell you about the winter life of the local fauna.

After an introduction to snowshoe hiking, you will hike along the winter hiking trail from the Alpincenter to the ICE CAMP Sun Deck presented by Audi - an artistic world of ice and snow on 2,600 metres above sea level.

Experience pure winter magic - trudge through the snow-covered winter landscape on a guided snowshoe hike and enjoy the silence of nature.

The ski tour runs off the slopes amid quiet, untouched nature to the Tristkogel mountain on 2,642 m above sea level. A state-certified mountain guide leads the tour.

The winter transforms the Ober- and Untersulzbach Valley at the foot of the Großvenediger with its snow-covered forests and icy watercourses into a fairytale landscape. On this snowshoe hike you will learn interesting facts about the Sulzbach valleys.

INCENSE KNOWLEDGE IN THE FARMHOUSE PARLOUR

Everything has its time and its history! Why did people burn incense in the past? And what sense does it make? Everything about the spirit of plants and the effects they have on your body and mind you will learn in a small incense knowledge during a homemade cinnamon-apple punch in the cosy farmhouse parlor of Dietlgut.

WINTRY PRIMEVAL FOREST IN RAURIS
30th December 2022 till 7th April 2023

Participants are shuttled to the starting point at the Lenzanger car park, then a magnificent snowshoe hike awaits you in the Rauris primeval forest. The hike through snow-covered old arolla pine and spruce trees brings the magic of winter to life. The way back is on a toboggan.

BAKING BREAD IN A WOOD STOVE

Bread made by hand and baked in a wood stove - a very special experience!
In addition to milling grain and the basic principles of bread baking, you will also learn how to prepare a leaven. Enjoy the smell of fresh baked bread and look forward to the tasting! Of course, you can take your bread home with you.
