With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can use public transport throughout the entire SalzburgerLand region during your stay. Usage is included, comfortable and eco-friendly. It takes you to excursion destinations, sights, natural spots, shops and many other highlights in the region.
The ticket is valid all year round for the full duration of your stay - and can also be used for arrival and departure.

Frequently asked questions
The Guest Mobility Ticket is an offer for all overnight guests in the province of Salzburg. It allows the use of public transport throughout SalzburgerLand for the duration of your stay.
Arrival (if you received the ticket before your journey) and departure (valid until 11.59 pm on the day of departure) are also included.
It is valid for the entire duration of your stay - from the first to the last day of your holiday.
You can receive your Guest Mobility Ticket in two ways:
- Pre check-in: If you complete the pre check-in before your arrival, your accommodation provider will issue the ticket to you digitally in advance. This allows you to use it for your journey to Salzburg.
- Check-in on site: You can also receive your ticket directly after checking in at your accommodation. It will be issued either as a digital ticket or a printed card, depending on your preference.
Important! The Guest Mobility Ticket is issued exclusively by your accommodation provider as part of check-in or pre check-in.
You can use the following:
- regional buses
- regional trains
- long-distance trains within Salzburg
- Pinzgau Lokalbahn train
- city transport services
- s-Bahn lines
- Salzburg transport shuttles
Not included: steam, nostalgic and special trains, night buses and cable cars.
No. The Guest Mobility Ticket cannot be purchased. It is always linked to an overnight stay in an accommodation business within the province of Salzburg.
A mobility fee is charged per person and night. It applies to guests aged 15 and over. Children up to 14 years do not pay the fee and can still fully use the ticket.
Every overnight guest from the age of 6 receives a Guest Mobility Ticket.
Children under 6 travel for free and do not need their own ticket. The mobility fee is only payable from the 15th birthday.
Groups of 10 or more persons must register their journey in advance so that sufficient capacity can be planned. Seat reservations are possible and may be subject to a fee depending on the transport operator.
- Regional bus: pre-registration required from 10 persons, at least 7 working days before the trip. You can find the form here.
- Train (ÖBB): registration required from 10 persons. You can find more information on the ÖBB website.
- Children and youth groups: arrival and departure within Salzburg are covered by the ticket; further journeys must be organised separately (e.g. by coach).
This applies to:- school groups
- children up to age 15
- youths up to age 21 participating in youth organisation events, plus their supervisors
Yes. One dog per person can travel free of charge. Please note that lead and muzzle requirement.
Bicycle transport is not included in the ticket. Bikes can be transported for a fee on regional trains, the Pinzgau Lokalbahn train, and the Salzburg Lokalbahn train.

Yes - on selected cross-border lines. For routes outside Salzburg, only the additional fare zone is charged.

- Bus line 260 via Bad Reichenhall to Salzburg
- Bus line 180 to Bad Reichenhall main station
- Bus line 150 to Bad Ischl
- Bus line 546 to St. Wolfgang
- ÖBB regional trains from Saalfelden to Hochfilzen
- Bus line 690 and the Loigom-Soifen Shuttle from Saalfelden to Hochfilzen
Your accommodation provider can issue a duplicate if your ticket was lost or deleted during its validity period.
Yes. If you received your ticket digitally in advance, you can use it for arrival by train. For routes outside Salzburg, the ticket applies from the first stop within the province.
The ticket must be available before your journey begins.
Yes. If you received the ticket in advance through pre check-in, you can use it for the bus connections from Salzburg Airport to your accommodation.
