While the day is still waking up, we are already physically active. In the middle of beautiful nature, we start with a gentle full-body streching to give us more mobility and energy for a great day.

Connect with the plants and make healing products! Gather local wild herbs and medicinal plants on a leisurely walk and make a herbal oil, tincture or ointment.

The Hohe Tauern National Park encompasses many of Austria's most precious landscapes, from the majestic peak of the Grossvenediger in the west to the steppe-like slopes in the east. Meet and join the people who protect our National Park. Learn more about the natural treasures of the National Park and how you can help preserve them for future generations.

Meeting point The junior rangers in the information huts will tell you exactly where to meet the National Park Ranger.

KING OF THE SKIES

12th July to 6th September 2023 - Raurisertal valley

In 1986, the first bearded vulture in the Alps was released in the Krumltal valley to reintroduce the once-extinct "king of the skies". During the excursion through the wild and romantic Krumltal valley, you may be lucky enough to see bearded vultures, griffon vultures, black vultures, golden eagles and other wildlife.

The Grossglockner high alpine road is one of the most impressive and beautiful scenic roads in Europe. A special driving pleasure by car, motorbike or completely relaxed with the Glockner Bus into the incomparable world of experience in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The bus tour is accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable National Park ranger.
