Running in and with nature

For all those who use nature as a source of strength: Get out and enjoy the diversity - along forest and meadow paths, streams and the Salzach - because each route has its own character.

"Take a breath of what we have in abundance: Fresh, stress-free mountain air!"

Trail running is running in nature, especially on unpaved paths. It trains not only the legs but also the upper body. It also requires concentration and caution.

It doesn't have to be a mountaintop, it's enoug to be in nature. But the odd metre of altitude is part of it.

  • When climbing, alternate between walking and running. Sometimes use poles or support yourself on the steepest parts by doing leg work and applying pressure with your arms.

  • On descents, roll safely, concertrating mainly on the front foot to cushion the impact. Use your arms a lot to keep your balance. Stay relaxed and enjoy the slopes.

Unlike running on the road, the terrain on a trail is very different. You run over small paths, stones, grass...

Piesendorf Niedernsill offers you versatility on the trails.

Tip! The routes are also suitable for Nordic walking.
