Ready for a mountain adventure with extra comfort? The guided mountain lovers tour starts with a ride in the hiking taxi to higher starting points. Together with your guide, you’ll hike through stunning alpine landscapes - often with a summit view as your reward. Along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts and enjoy new views and special nature moments. The taxi takes you back after the tour.

STEAM TRAIN

14th May to 3rd September 2026

Travelling on the nostalgic steam trains of the Pinzgau Lokalbahn, guests enjoy a leisurely journey through the landscapes of the Pinzgau region. Historic carriages, the distinctive experience of a steam locomotive and plenty of railway romance make this trip a special outing for both young and old. A popular highlight is the "Kesselwurst", grilled directly on the boiler of the steam locomotive.

INTO THE HOLLERSBACH VALLEY

16th July to 10th September 2026 - Hollersbach

From the starting point, this walk leads you into the wide and open landscape of the Hollersbach Valley. At first accompanied by forest, the valley gradually opens up into expansive alpine meadows with clear views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, traces of traditional land use appear, including historic stone walls that tell the story of this cultural landscape. The destination is the Senningeralm - a welcoming place to pause and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting before heading back.

INTO THE WEICHSELBACH VALLEY

16th July to 10th September 2026 - Fusch

Accompanied by the steady sound of the Weichselbach stream, this walk leads into the quiet valley of Bad Fusch. Easy paths guide you through a varied landscape of forests, alpine meadows and clear mountain streams. Along the way, you’ll discover the history of this former spa area with its healing springs, while gaining insights into the local flora and fauna. Step by step, the unique atmosphere of this secluded valley unfolds. A gentle experience that beautifully combines nature and history.

GLOCKNER BUS - BUS TOUR

2nd July to 27th August 2026 - Grossglockner high alpine road

Travel comfortably and in an environmentally friendly way right into the impressive high alpine landscape of the Hohe Tauern with the Glockner Bus. Departing from various locations on the Salzburg side, the journey follows the Grossglockner High Alpine Road up to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe - a spectacular viewpoint facing Austria’s highest mountain. As you relax and enjoy the scenery, experienced National Park rangers provide engaging insights into the local flora and fauna, along with fascinating stories along the route. A truly enjoyable way to experience the mountains without the need for your own car.

CASTLE SIGHTSEEING TOUR

2nd July to 20th September 2026 - Kaprun

Stepping into Kaprun Castle feels like stepping into the past. Its centuries-old walls whisper stories of knights, nobles and medieval life. First mentioned in records in the 13th century, historians believe its origins date even further back. 

The castle tour starts at 10 am, where you'll hear captivating tales about its history. Afterwards, you can explore the castle halls, museum, dungeon and various photo spots at your own pace. A special highlight awaits at the highest point of the keep, where a staircase leads you to an incredible panoramic view over the Zell Basin!
