After the ascent in the hiking taxi, you will be accompanied by a hiking guide on a journey of discovery through the beauty of nature. During the guided hike you will learn interestings facts about the landscape and its minerals.

COOKING & BAKING COURSE FOR FAMILIES - quality time on the mountain

Every second Thursday in July & August 2023 - Niedernsill

A view years ago Katharina opened her seminar kitchen on their organic farm. It really is a place for families to spend quality time together. The family cooking and baking course teaches you about our local foods in a variety of ways. Why is milk white? Yoghurt and cream cheese - easy to make. Do brown hens lay brown eggs and white hens white eggs? From grain to bread: bake your own favourite biscuits. 

For several years now, Katharina have been a farmer trained to give seminars. She is looking forward to welcome you to one of her courses.

every 1st Thursday of the month from April to October 2023 - Event tent Piesendorf

Homemade products such as farmhouse bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, hearty bacon and cheese specialities, honey, fresh fish and many other homemade delicacies from the region are on offer.

STEAM TRAIN

18th May to 28th September 2023 - additional on Saturday 9th September 2023

Enjoy a romantic ride through the beautiful Pinzgau countryside on the nostalgic steam trains of the Pinzgau Lokalbahn train. A special highlight for young and old is the "Bratwurst", grilled on the boilder of the steam locomotive!

10th July to 8th September 2023 - National Park Valleys

The Hohe Tauern National Park encompasses many of Austria's most precious landscapes, from the majestic peak of the Grossvenediger in the west to the steppe-like slopes in the east. Meet and join the people who protect our National Park. Learn more about the natural treasures of the National Park and how you can help preserve them for future generations.

CASTLE SIGHTSEEING TOUR

3rd July to 28th September 2023 - Kaprun

Walk through 600 years of eventful history. You can still feel the atmosphere of days gone by when you enter the venerable Kaprun Castle. It is like a journey back in time. Surrounded by centuries-old walls, you will get an idea of how the counts and lords of the castle spent their days.  

Get to know the historic castle at 5 pm and listen to the history of the castle. Then explore the castle itself. There are photo points, a small exhibition, the castle museum and the dungeon.
