Duration

approx. 2.5 hours - for skiers and snowboarders aged 13 and older

Requirements

Beginners: secure riding on slopes, safety equipment*
Experienced riders: secure riding on slopes, basic backcountry riding skills, safety equipment*

*Backpack, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe can be rented

IN THE WINTER REALM OF THE WATERFALLS

22nd December 2025 to 30th March 2026 - Krimml

The Krimml waterfalls are an impressive natural spectacle not only in summer. Due to their shady location, only a few rays of sunlight reach the waterfalls, creating beautiful ice formations at the right temperatures.

approx. 4.5 hours (hiking time 2.5 hours | level of difficulty - medium)

Charge

each person € 22.00 | children and youths (10-16 years) in accompanied by parents free of charge | excl. feeder service

 

Free of charge with the guest card and Nationalpark WinterCard (excl. feeder service)

Equipment

Sturdy ankle-high shoes, warm socks, ski poles, warm clothes, sun protaction, backpack with warm drinks and snacks | Snowshoes and poles can be rented on-site if needed.

WILDLIFE WATCHING at the feeding in the Habachtal valley

2nd January to 27th February 2026 - Bramberg am Wildkogel

During the cold and snowy winter months, red deer and roe deer have a hard time finding enough food. On this excursion you will find out that feeding is not just feeding and that active wildlife management has many unexpected facets. This is and exciting experience for the whole family, as you get to see mighty stags and young calves up close, but still in the wild.
