GUIDED MOUNTAIN LOVERS TOUR

Mid-May to end of September 2024 - Piesendorf Niedernsill

This guided hike takes you to some of the peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps/Pingzauer Grasberge. A hiker's taxi will take you to the starting point of the tour, from where you can explore the flora and fauna of the mountain world.

SEW YOUR OWN PINE CUSHION

Immerse yourself in the magical world of the stone pine and craft your own piece of mountain enchantment. The stone pine, the queen of the mountains, not only enhances your well-being but also promotes better sleep. Sew your own cushion, fill it with sheep's wool and fragrant stone pine shavings.

"AS THE NIGHT WAS BORN" - FOREST GHOST TRAIN

18th July to 29th August 2023 - Niedernsill

An unforgettable adventure! They will transform the magical forest at night into a forest ghost train with mysterious lights, wild creatures and eerie sounds and melodies. At 9.30 pm (9 pm in August), all brave parents, grandparents, siblings and friends are invited to board the Ghost Train.

MEET A RANGER

10th July to 8th September 2023 - National Park Valleys

The Hohe Tauern National Park encompasses many of Austria's most precious landscapes, from the majestic peak of the Grossvenediger in the west to the steppe-like slopes in the east. Meet and join the people who protect our National Park. Learn more about the natural treasures of the National Park and how you can help preserve them for future generations.

Meeting point The junior rangers in the information huts will tell you exactly where to meet the National Park Ranger.

TRIP TO THE ARCTIC

11th July to 5th September 2023 - Stubachtal valley Uttendorf/Weißsee

A hike to the glacier regions of the Hohe Tauern is comparable to a journey of several thousand kilometres to the North Cape. Between the Grossglockner and the Granatspitze you can hike with an National Park Ranger through several altitude levels of flora and fauna.

FROM THE SIGLITZ VALLEY TO THE BOCKHART LAKES

11th July to 5th September 2023 - Bad Gastein

This circular walk takes you through the Siglitztal valley, past the traces of historic mining and a waterfall, to the border of the National Park.
Over the Bockhartscharte, with its stunning views and the Bockhart Lakes, we return to the starting point.
