A special winter experience

Snowshoeing is pure nature experience, and it's also incredibly easy. Leave your marks in deep, powdery snow, trek through the winter forest, learn about the survival strategies of animals, and immerse yourself in a different dimension of time.

Winter in the National Park

In winter, the predominant season in the high-altitude regions of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the landscape reveals itself in an entirely different light. The apparent calm and silence can be deceiving.

During a guided snowshoe hike through the National Park landscape, the winter sun, reflecting off the gleaming snow cover, makes the short winter days seem a bit longer.
