HERBAL- AND TASTING HIKE

5th July to 6th September 2024 - Schmittenhöhe Zell am See

On a walk along the high-altitude promenade, you discover with Schmitten herbal expert Fredi a variety of wild medicinal and culinary herbs, which you also collect. Afterwards, you make ointments, lemonades, salts or spreads in the herbal workshop.

The Hohe Tauern National Park encompasses many of Austria's most precious landscapes, from the majestic peak of the Grossvenediger in the west to the steppe-like slopes in the east. Meet and join the people who protect our National Park. Learn more about the natural treasures of the National Park and how you can help preserve them for future generations.

The junior rangers in the information huts will tell you exactly where to meet the National Park Ranger.

HIKE TO REEDSEE LAKE

12th July to 6th September 2024 - Bad Gastein (Kötschachtal)

GLOCKNER BUS - BUS TOUR

5th July to 30th August 2024 - Grossglockner high alpine road

The Grossglockner high alpine road is one of the most impressive and beautiful scenic roads in Europe. A special driving pleasure by car, motorbike or completely relaxed with the Glockner Bus into the incomparable world of experience in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The bus tour is accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable National Park ranger.
