MAGICAL WINTER EXPERIENCE

27th December 2023 to 3th April 2024 - Rauris

Snowshoeing is the perfect way to explore the snow-covered landscape of the back Rauris valley - the so-called Hüttwinkltal. This moderately difficult tour offers stunning views of the Sonnblick and Ritterkopf peaks. The snow-covered winter landscape is full of animal tracks, telling of the winter life of the local fauna.

Note: Snowshoes and ski poles can be rented from the NP Administration. If necessary, please let them know when you register.

GUIDED SNOWSHOE HIKE

17th January to 10th April 2024 - Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun

After an introduction to snowshoe hiking, you follow the winter hiking trail from the Alpincenter to the ICE CAMP Sun Deck presented by Audi - an artfully crafted world of ice and snow at an altitude of 2,600 metres.

WINTER EXPERIENCE HOLLERSBACH VALLEY

27th December 2023 to 3rd April 2024 - Hollersbach

The Hollersbach valley is particularly enchanting in the winter months. Snow-covered alpine meadows, hoarfrost-covered forests and glistening streams decorated with ice make this a particularly rewarding excursion. Animal tracks tell of the winter life of the local fauna.

WILDLIFE WATCHING at the feeding in the Habachtal valley

3rd January to 26th February 2024 - Bramberg am Wildkogel

During the cold and snowy winter months, red deer and roe deer have a hard time finding enough food. On this excursion you will find out that feeding is not just feeding and that active wildlife management has many unexpected facets. This is and exciting experience for the whole family, as you get to see mighty stags and young calves up close, but still in the wild.
