With the ski bus and ski train, you can reach the surrounding ski areas comfortably and without the hassle of parking. Every 30 minutes, you can travel to Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn & Maiskogel) and to Zell am See (Schmittenhöhe). 

Simply hop on, enjoy the winter landscape, and start your ski day completely stress-free.

Through the snow-covered mountains with the Pinzgau Lokalbahn train

The Pinzgau Lokalbahn train is one of the most relaxed ways to experience winter around Piesendorf Niedernsill. It connects Zell am See, Piesendorf, Niedernsill and Mittersill. From Mittersill, onward travel to Krimml is provided by a replacement bus service. Between Zell am See and Niedernsill it runs every 30 minutes, and from Niedernsill towards Krimml every hour. 

Whether you want to reach cross-country trails, winter hiking routes, excursion destinations, ski areas or simply the next village: the local train takes you there comfortably, reliably and with beautiful views of the winter landscape of the Pinzgau region.
